ZWP Updates - April 2021

• Compost Group Update:

  • Completing City Composting Report and working with Office of Sustainability; City is hosting a Composters round-table to discuss Composting Next Steps

  • Compost drop-off site structure planning in motion;

• Legislative Group Update:

  • Waiting for some guidance from CLF about upcoming policy plans with City Council. Planning ideas for September to keep policy momentum

• Outreach/Communications Update:

  • Zero Waste Providence is teaming up to help with two Earth Day Clean Ups: April 22th & April 24th

    • Stay tuned for more details!

  • Working to create more composting and recycling information resources

General Update:
