Compost Resolution present to ESTF. Commits Office of Sustainability to write a report about compost/waste diversion
To be presented to City Council in January
Compost Survey for outreach/community feedback
Survey to be distributed to some community groups to help determine interest in residential compost
Goal is to survey 500 individuals
Contacting neighboring cities (e.g. Cambridge & Newton) for research/input on their residential composting
Legislative Group Update:
Reaching out to restaurants in Barrington to learn more about materials they use in lieu of Styrofoam
